Our goal is to give you a realistic view of medicine while helping you become the most competitive applicant possible.  This site is designed to keep you informed of all our upcoming events and to help you prepare for medical school.  Check out the spotlights on the left to learn more about specific medical schools, current events in medicine, service projects, and research openings.  The links above are resources for you to not only learn how to prepare for a career in medicine but specific ways to accomplish that preparation.  Be sure to check out the committee links for shadowing, research, and service opportunities. 

Why join the BYU Pre-Med Club?  We are here to provide you the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful on your road to becoming a physician.  Most, if not all, meetings this year will feature guest speakers, offering valuable insight into medicine and the pathway to get there.  Pre-Med Club meetings are also a great place to find new friends, enjoy a good slice of pizza, or just indulge in the Nirvana that is medicine.  The cost of membership is $20, but you get your money back fast.  Members receive quality pizza and drinks every meeting, a club t-shirt, a $75 discount with Kaplan, and seats for you and a guest at the end of the year banquet with President Samuelson in the Skyroom (a $30 value on its own).  We also have shadowing and research databases compiled that are available for club members only and not found anywhere else on campus!  Bring your $20 in cash or check to the next meeting and join us!  If you have any questions feel free to e-mail us at byupremedclub@gmail.com.
